Exhibit
January 13th, 2007 by Jake Scaltreto
Just a quick note, until the end of the month, a small exhibit featuring some of my photography as well as the artwork of my mother, Dawn Evans Scaltreto, will be on display in the upstairs gallery of the Watertown Free Public Library. If you are in the area, feel free to stop in and take a peek at the exhibit. If you really like it, you can buy one of my prints; mention the web site and I'll be sure to give you a bargain
I won't be there, but according to the library's website, there is a reception tomorrow Saturday the 13th from 2-4 PM. So, even if you're not interested in the art, show up and get some free snacks.

There was a serious snafu with the reception. I had it scheduled for Saturday, then the Library published it in the paper as being on Sunday. I did my best to let people know it would be on Sunday, and lo and behold, the freaking library was CLOSED on Sunday and Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
So, anyhow, I had already made other plans (playing with "The Risen"), and a handful of people did show up for a reception that did not happen. So, do you want to do a small reception the week you are home? We could schedule it for Sunday afternoon, or Friday Night, or Saturday afternoon. That would be cool to have your friends at it, too.
